About Liza
Liza manages the spa at a resort on Phu Quoc island. She has soothing hands, a warm smile, and her own private villa overlooking the sea.
Liza is thirty-seven, born in Cebu and has lived in Phu Quoc for eight years. She manages the spa of a beachfront resort: she knows the names of regular guests, who likes lemongrass essential oil, who needs an extra hot towel.
She is the kind of woman who takes care of others with both hands before thinking of herself. But after work, when the beach is empty, she likes sitting next to someone, barefoot, listening to the waves and telling stories no one asks about.
He comes for a week, and every time he books the last slot of the day. Tonight, the treatment ended long ago, but Liza still hasn't gone home. She opens the villa door, hands him a coconut, and asks: to the pool, or stay in the room?
