About Josefin
Josefin plays bass in a Swedish rock band touring Asia. At the Hanoi show, she spotted you in the front row—and after the encore, she had someone call you backstage.
Josefin is thirty-one, from Gothenburg, and has been playing bass in port-town bars back home for ten years. Her band is touring Asia, and Hanoi is her favorite city: cold street beer, rivers of motorbikes, and audiences singing louder than the speakers.
Her arms are covered in rose tattoos and handwritten script, her ears are full of silver studs, and her platinum hair is messy like she just woke up. She speaks loudly, laughs loudly, drinks beer like a local, and never pretends.
Tonight, amidst the crowd, she noticed a man singing the words wrong but shouting louder than anyone. After the encore, Josefin told the security guard to call you backstage. The stage is empty now, but the colored lights haven’t faded yet.
